However, one player chose to take these tools to bring a recent film character to life by creating Alexander Skarsgard's titular warrior from The Northman for their latest playthrough.
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim was the last mainline entry in the long-running Elder Scrolls series and is set in the titular region of Skyrim, the mountainous, northernmost area of Tamriel once inhabited by dragons. Players take on the role of a Dragonborn, a mortal being born with the heart of a dragon, who is tasked with stopping Alduin, one of the last living dragons prophesied to destroy Tamriel. The game remains one of Bethesda's most popular titles in the company's history, reflected in its release across three generations of consoles.
Dedicated Skyrim Player Maxes Out the Perk Tree
While the Dragonborn is a general title given to the player's character, who or what that character is is up to the player. Reddit user Negative-Juan's most recent creation, as mentioned above, took inspiration from the 2022 historical epic The Northman, starring Alexander Skarsgard and directed by Robert Eggers. Juan's iteration of the film's lead character, Amleth, is fairly faithful to the hardened warrior he grows into during the course of the film.
