Hardly anyone could have predicted that Skyrim would still be going strong more than ten years after releasing. With The Elder Scrolls 6's whereabouts still shrouded in secrecy, the 2011 Bethesda epic is still very much in the limelight. Reddit user jackfjdah1 has uploaded a very brief clip from their Skyrim playthrough, in which they intended to show off just how many modifications they've added to the game. Although the viewer is only treated to less than thirty seconds of footage taken from a wooded area, it becomes clear that it's hard to tell the difference between a game and the real world. The visuals are simply so realistic that it begs the question of how they are able to run it without their system crashing entirely. The user did say that their computer managed to keep a steady 40fps, but with some occasional dips in performance.

For all its flaws, Skyrim has some beautiful locations, and being able to make it even more stunning just goes to show how far gaming has come over the last decade or so.
