Skyrim Player is Posting Beautiful Screenshots Every Day Until Elder Scrolls 6 Comes Out
There is no sense in hiding the fact that some people are starting to get a little antsy about the whereabouts of The Elder Scrolls 6. With Skyrim coming out towards the latter parts of 2011, and Bethesda currently marketing its upcoming sci-fi game Starfield, it feels like news about the next in the epic RPG series is long overdue, but doesn't seem to be forthcoming. Given how long it's been since the last installment, it's understandable that fans may be getting a little impatient, and while frustration may be the general feeling, this one person seems to be making the most of the long wait.
A Reddit user, and no doubt Skyrim fan, who goes by the alias Shankface has made it their mission to upload a new image every day until the release of the next Elder Scrolls title. But the images are not passive-aggressive in any way. In fact, some of them are downright glorious and really show that the decade-old game can still look pretty spectacular.

At the time of writing, Shankface is currently on day 35, with the latest screenshot showing a close-up of Skyrim's vampire companion Serana, and being credited to user TheAlfredValentine. The previous image, labeled as «On this day, I go to Sovngarde,» shows an unfortunate soul about to be executed in Riften. There's also a spectacularly moody image on day 33 which shows the interior of the Blue Palace. Some of these screenshots could easily be used as desktop wallpapers.
