With the introduction of the Beyond Light expansion, Destiny 2 players were treated to a new story campaign set on Europa, alongside the ability to use the powers of the Dark as well as the Light for the first time ever. These new Stasis subclasses brought about some major changes to Destiny 2, especially where PvP was concerned. Since then, the game has been balanced multiple times, tweaking the powers of the Stasis subclasses so that they're not just overpowered.
However, this doesn't mean that Stasis abilities can't still be used to make some amazing plays. While a lot of players of Destiny 2 may be looking towards the new and improved Void subclasses being brought along with the Void 3.0 update, one player's clip shows that the Stasis subclasses can still pull off some impressive moves. As Stasis is related to cold and the cessation of movement, a player can effectively stop another in their tracks during PvP, setting up for easy kills.

One player, who posted their clip on Reddit, showed the perfect example of this. In the short clip, the player spots a Behemoth Titan sprinting towards their teammates and themselves. As the Titan rounds a corner though, the trap is strung and with a couple of Stasis abilities the intimidating Behemoth Titan is sent back to the respawn screen so they can think about their decisions. The Behemoth Titan is ironically the Stasis subclass of that class, meaning that in this case Stasis abilities perfectly countered a Stasis class.
