One of the reasons the RPG has survived is the modding community. A steady stream of mods are still being made for Skyrim, giving gamers reasons to come back. The additions to the game can range from chaotic to useful, including one mod that allows players to soar through the skies.

A Reddit user known as Glenzz posted a clip where they used the «Skyrim's Paraglider» mod that gave them a glider similar to the one seen in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The video shows Glenzz standing at the edge of Throat of the World, looking down at the landscape. The player takes a running leap off of the mountain, then spawns the glider. As they slowly descend downward they look around, showcasing much of the beautiful world that makes up Skyrim. The player eventually floats down to Skyrim's city of Whiterun, where they end their journey by entering through the gates.
Glenzz's clip has gained a number of fans and sits at almost 4,000 upvotes. One user brought up the idea of being attacked by one of Skyrim's dragons while riding on the glider, to which Glenzz answered that they have been attacked in midair by the beasts. Another commenter stated that they have never touched the glider mod, but that the video made them want to try it.
