After its initial announcement back in April, THQ Nordic's Digital Presentation event showcased a variety of games coming from the publisher. This presentation event showed off trailers for a number of games that have been announced, such as AEW Fight Forever, Alone in the Dark, and Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed, among others. One of these is an extreme racing game known as Stuntfest: World Tour, featuring a number of ways to race and traverse environments.
Stuntfest was first announced at the end of June, where it showed the player being able to eject from their cars, where they could open up a set of wings and fly around the course with a jetpack. The player can use their car to execute gravity-defying tricks, flying through the air like a ragdoll to get ahead. Players can even crash their cars in order to eject themselves to get tons of momentum and bounce on mats to get further ahead of the competition. These tricks and more were demonstrated in a recent trailer for Stuntfest, which indicates that a playtest will be taking place over the weekend.
Embracer Group Could Be Working on its Own Launcher for Classic Games
This latest trailer for Stuntfest shows the player character being able to drive a number of vehicles in wacky racetracks in the air, with 18 players all competing against each other in an elimination-based competition. The various types of games that players can participate in include a death race and a battle royale elimination crash derby. Players can participate in these contests this weekend, as the game will be conducting its first playtest during this time, from August 12-13.
Stuntfest provides a number of customization options for players' cars and can be upgraded in a variety of ways as well.
