A Sims 4 player has brilliantly recreated the opening to the iconic animated sitcom Family Guy. Making recreations of pop-culture scenes and locales is a popular pastime in the game's creative community, with Sims players often sharing famous movie scenes and sets. Since the game's release in 2014, The Sims 4 has sold over 36 million copies and is one of the most popular simulation games of all time.
The Sims is all about user creativity and control — players can design everything from their characters' faces and clothes to their homes and can make them live out their lives however the player dictates. Alongside the necessary day-to-day activities like eating, gamers can let their Sims express themselves creatively in a myriad of ways, such as painting, singing, dancing, and playing musical instruments. Ever since the game's release in 2014, a large amount of Sims 4 DLC content has been released, including the expansion pack Cats and Dogs, which allows Sims to adopt pets into their family.

Thanks to the Cats and Dogs expansion pack, among others, Reddit user daniellebuilds shared their amazing recreation of the Family Guy opening theme song this week, complete with the whole family. Their video includes Sim versions of all the show's main characters, who look very similar to their cartoon counterparts. The creator followed the flow of the cartoon's intro as closely as can be replicated in-game, including everything from Lois at the piano to Chris and Meg's dancing.
