Siesta Key: Ish Soto Posts Honorary Mother's Day Message For Madisson

Siesta Key's Ish Soto honored his wife, Madisson Hausberg, for Mother's Day after the two lost their baby Elliot in a stillbirth in December. Ish and Madisson shared the devastating news on December 21 on Instagram. Elliot initially had a due date of January 1, but Madisson delivered him on December 12. Luckily, the couple has found solace in each other and in sharing their experience with loss on social media. While some followers reacted negatively to the pair sharing photos of Elliot on social media, many others thanked the couple for shining a light on pregnancy loss and helping them feel less alone.

Madisson thanked MTV on Twitter for airing the Siesta Key episodes that followed her pregnancy journey. Some of the episodes included Madisson going to doctor's appointments, her friends throwing her a baby shower and her worrying about looking pregnant in her wedding gown. While it may seem heartbreaking to watch the experience back, Madisson is happy to end the stigma around pregnancy loss and help other mothers feel less alone. Madisson and Ish both got tattoos to honor their son, with Madisson getting his name on her forearm and Ish getting his handprint on the back of his hand.

While Elliot is not physically with the couple, Ish posted a special Mother's Day Instagram message for Madisson to honor her and the love she has for their late son. Ish shared a beachy photo of him and his wife standing next to a sign that read, "Stop for a kiss," followed by a kind caption for her special day. "Happy Mother’s Day to my beautiful wife. Even though Baby Elliot isn’t physically here you are still the strongest most loving mother I know," he wrote.
