Sid Meier's Civilization VII is the next game to be announced in the Civilization franchise, a beloved franchise that has been going since 1991, with multiple spin-offs in the franchise. The next main game in the franchise was announced during Summer Games Fest 2024 and is slated for a 2025 release. As of today, the official system requirements have been announced, and the Ultra settings are asking quite a lot of players. At the moment, there have been no Mac requirements listed, so it's uncertain whether the game will be arriving on Mac as it releases on PC, if it'll come at a later date, or if there are no plans to put it onto Mac at all. Civilization VI was put onto Mac and Linux, so it's likely that the game will also be released on Mac at some point in its lifespan.
