Shenmue Anime Series Gets Release Date, Cast Reveal

The first trailer for the animated series debuted in October with a vague 2022 premiere date. Adult Swim and Crunchyroll have finally given a more exact release date as well as a partial cast reveal. will debut on February 5 on Adult Swim and Crunchyroll.
The news came through a new trailer, which gives a general overview of the series. Adult Swim will handle the English dubbed version through Toonami and Crunchyroll will have of the subtitled version outside of China and Japan. Many of the voices were also revealed, but only two of the Japanese voice actors were named. More will be announced at a later date.
