Sega Genesis Mini 2 Will Have 60+ Titles: Here's the Full List
Sega has revealed the full list of games coming to Genesis Mini 2, which includes classics like Phantasy Star II, Fatal Fury 2, and Streets of Rage 3.
The retro console will arrive loaded up with 60+ titles, an increase from the 42 games found in the original Genesis Mini, which launched in 2019. In addition, the Genesis Mini 2 is launching in Europe on Oct. 27, the same day it arrives in North America.
In July, Sega announced 23 of the games coming to the retro console, but today it published the full list in a video(Opens in a new window) that goes over the various titles.
Notable games include hack-in-slash Golden Axe II, side-scroller Ranger-X, and Earthworm Jim 2. The console is also coming with some Sega CD games, including Final Fight CD, top-down shooter Robo Aleste, and Ecco: The Tides of Time, the second game in Ecco the Dolphin series.
Sega also teased “bonus" content, like unreleased titles such as puzzle games Star Mobile and Devi & Pii. The full list is below. The first 12 titles are Sega CD games, which include a few Japanese ports. Space Harrier 2 seems to be the only game that's also offered on the original Genesis Mini.
