The patents from Bungie are all focused around a digital controller and modified way of communicating with other devices from a mobile screen. Though nothing is confirmed, a Destiny mobile game could be an interesting addition to the franchise for fans who want a new experience in the universe. Indeed, many who are speculating about a mobile Destiny IP have been stating that the title will be a standalone game.
Reports of a Destiny mobile game are recent and unconfirmed, but this new information about a Bungie patent is, at the very least, evidence that the studio is working on some sort of mobile title or application.

Some other images from the patent also allude to a possible connection between mobile controls and other devices, which might mean that players can use mobile devices in conjunction with other screens. A few of Bungie's patents include an Infinite Drag and Swipe function for mobile, a Virtual Button Charging function, and a collection of State Based Action Buttons.
