WWE has confirmed that Roman Reigns will be defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against social media personality Logan Paul at the Crown Jewel premium live event on Saturday, November 5 in Saudi Arabia. The announcement was made by Triple H at a WWE press conference in Las Vegas.
Logan Paul has had a presence in WWE for a little over a year now. When he first joined the company, Paul aligned himself with villainous wrestlers like Sami Zayn and Happy Corbin in their feuds against Kevin Owens. Paul appeared at WrestleMania 37 and wound up taking a Stunner from Owens for his trouble. The next time Paul appeared in WWE, he teamed up with The Miz to feud with Rey and Dominik Mysterio, defeating the father-son duo at WrestleMania 38 in his first-ever WWE Match.

After Paul and The Miz defeated The Mysterios at WreslteMania 38, Miz turned Paul, laying him out with a Skull-Crushing Finale. Paul would go on to sign a contract with WWE, then exacted his revenge on The Miz at this past year's SummerSlam event in a critically-acclaimed match. Paul's match with Roman Reigns will be his biggest challenge to date, as Reigns has not been pinned in over 1,000 days and has held the championship for over two years.
The match between Logan Paul and Roman Reigns will likely be the main event of Crown Jewel, an annual event in Saudi Arabia that is known for having big money, WrestleMania-level matches. The rest of the card has not been announced at the time of this writing, but it will definitely be interesting to see what other matches are added to the card between now and when the event takes place on November 5.
