In Sea of Thieves, there are a total of 6 underwater Shrines and 3 Treasuries to discover in vault-style, treasure-hunting explorations, each with puzzles to decipher or challenges to beat. The Shrine of The Coral Tomb is situated on the northwest side of the Sea of Thieves map, deep within the watery depths of The Shores of Plenty. Although Shrines and Treasuries were first introduced in Season 4 of Sea Of Thieves, they can provide a different kind of challenge for players compared to the bigger hauls of Gold Hoarder vault voyages, or the quick-loot Sea Forts of Season 6.

To reach the treasure in the Shrine Of The Coral Tomb, players are loosely tasked with solving the siren runes puzzle and there are also five journals to discoverto achieve the 'Read the Mysteries of the Shrine of the Coral Tomb' deed. After successfully entering the tomb, the puzzle is divided into three phases.
After locating and sailing to the Shrine at point H5 on the map, players will need to dive deep into the depths of the swirling, multicolor light and swim to the bottom, where they will see the tomb entrance between two oxygen-emitting corals. To open the bubble-protected entrance, players must shoot the flashing rose-shaped object at the top of the door.
Once inside, players need to go down the slide which launches them into the central watery pit. Players will notice there are two giant mermaid statues, each with a red gem encrusted into their chests.
