Wanda Maximoff is among Marvel's most complex heroes and in a new cosplay with some great photo editing, one of Scarlet Witch's most iconic covers capturing her at her most challenging times is recreated. In a cosplay from @odfel featuring Scarlet Witch's classic costume with photo work from @patloika, Marvel Comics' most powerful magic user's cover from the House of M event comes to life, as the Joe Quesada image gets an epic real-life recreation.
Scarlet Witch took control of the Marvel Universe during the dramatic events of House of M by Brian Michael Bendis, Olivier Coipel, Tim Townsend, and Frank D'Armata. The storyline occurs as Scarlet Witch suffers a mental breakdown and creates an entirely new reality after the death of her husband Vision — as she wants to bring their lost children back to life. Scarlet Witch losing control of herself and her powers would have a massive impact on the Marvel Universe. When reality was restored, she famously depowered mutants across the globe with perhaps her famous line, «no more mutants.» The House of M storyline was loosely adapted in the recent WandaVision series on Disney+, where Scarlet Witch changed reality in a small town where she brought Vision back from the dead to deal with her grief.
