Warning! Spoilers for Fantastic Four #42 by Marvel Comics below
Marvel's newest villain, Wrath, is proving to be a Thanos-level conqueror, as he and the Reckoning just proved just how deadly they are. In Fantastic Four #42, She-Hulk and Jack of Hearts come face-to-face with Wrath on his home base on Ral-Jek. The villain not only survives the subsequent powerful attack while making both heroes look weak but reveals he's responsible for the massacre of «more worlds, more galaxies» than they've ever seen.
The Reckoning War was nearly 15 years in the making, as the cosmic villains were first mentioned in an issue of She-Hulk back in 2007. In the issue, She-Hulk heard the case between the Watchers and Recluses (Ral-Jek), determining Qyre the Watcher lose his mouth and ability to speak for uncovering the uber-private alien race. However, by removing the Watcher's mouth, Qyre (later murdered by Wrath) could not warn the Recluses about the Reckoning's attack, leading to the slaughter of the entire race. Ultimately, She-Hulk felt guilty for her ruling and later slaughter — and now she's confronting the Thanos-level villain responsible for the attack.
