After taking a short break from acting, Rachel McAdams is ready to get back on the big screen with one of the most highly-anticipated titles from Marvel Studios to date: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.The Oscar-nominated actress attended the red carpet world premiere for the sequel and spoke with reporters about her return to the franchise, as well as what she really thinks about her co-star Benedict Cumberbatch.
When asked by Marvel correspondents what it feels like to be back, McAdams said she is thrilled to still be attached to the Doctor Strange franchise after six long years and that she's glad she didn't burn any bridges. With regard to Cumberbatch, McAdams had only kind words to offer, saying that he's created an awesome character since day one and that he's even better in the role this time around. «He makes my job really, really easy,» she added.

McAdams showed her reverence for Cumberbatch in real-time when the crowd suddenly erupted into a roar of cheers. The Doctor Strange actress hilariously quipped, «That must be him, right?» implying that he must be the one cast member that fans were most excited to see all night. One of the reporters then noted that people had been screaming for all the cast members throughout the night, including McAdams, who deserves every bit of praise that she gets.
McAdams also admitted that transitioning back into the role of Dr. Christine Palmer was made easier by the fact that she got to play different versions of the character, thus confirming the existence of multiple Palmer variants.
