Samsung has added a new smartphone to its A-series, with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G in India. This comes a week after its global launch alongside the Galaxy A33 5G. The new Galaxy A53 5G comes with a 64MP OIS camera, 120Hz Super AMOLED display, IP67 rating certifying water and dust resistance, and a 5nm Exynos 1280 processor. The pre-booking for the new Samsung A-series smartphone has also opened starting today. Well, the Galaxy A53 will go on sale from March 25, 2022. The Samsung Galaxy A53 features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O Display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 1280 SoC chipset packed with 6GB and 8GB of RAM options. It runs on Android 12 with One UI 4.1. For power, it comes with a 5000mAh battery with 25W of wired charging support. Tough, again like Samsung Galaxy F23 and flagship Galaxy S22 series, you won’t get the charging adapter inside the box.
For photography, it packs a quad rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor with OIS, along with a 12MP ultra-wide, 5MO depth sensor, and 5-MP macro shooter. Besides that, the Galaxy A53 has IP67 Water & Dust Resistance certification along with 4 years of OS and 5 years of security upgrades. Samsung Galaxy A53 5G price in India on launch is Rs. 34,499 for the entry-level variant of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. While another variant comes with 8GB RAM and a 128GB storage option which costs Rs. 35,999.
