Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse Remastered was announced at the very start of 2023, and now it finally has a release date. Developer Skunkape Games has revealed it'll be coming to PS4 on 14th August, 2024.
Originally created by Telltale Games for PS3, The Devil's Playhouse is the third episodic entry in the beloved adventure game series from the studio. This remastered version follows similar reworks of the previous two titles, Save the World and Beyond Time and Space, both released a couple of years ago. It's good to have the full set on PS4.
The game's story has Max discover a powerful toy that lets him peek into the future, which draws the attention of many villains who seek the power for themselves. The Devil's Playhouse is another narrative-focused, linear adventure, leaning into its humorous writing and fun characters.

I wasn’t into this season as much as the first two on release, but maybe a second go would change my mind!
@ATaco Sam and Max Hit the Road is still the pinnacle of Sam and Max, frankly. I wish they’d port THAT like Full Throttle and Grim Fandango were.
