Actor Ryan Reynolds has received the Canadian 2021 Governor General's Performing Arts Award and was honored with a song from Barenaked Ladies frontman, Steven Page. Reynolds was recently in the Netflix original film Red Notice, alongside Dwayne Johnson and Gal Gadot.

Even though the reviews were less than stellar, the film has been a massive hit for the streaming giant, quickly becoming one of its most viewed originals. Reynolds is also known for his work as the Merc with the Mouth in the Fox
