Adonis “Donnie” Creed has already led an impressive boxing career in the Rocky franchise. Played by Michael B. Jordan, Adonis had big shoes to fill from the start. After all, the world knows he’s the son of Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers), who has a reputation as one of the best boxers ever to fight in the ring.
In the same vein as his father, Adonis has achieved great fame as a professional boxer. In his second movie, he followed in Apollo’s footsteps by winning the world heavyweight championship and also taking down the son of Apollo’s killer, Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren). But similar to Rocky's (Sylvester Stallone) situation, becoming the champion and holding on to the title hasn’t ended his story. Adonis’ boxing days will continue for at least one more movie. Adonis will get back into the ring for Creed III, where he’ll likely face new challenges for the title.

Not unlike the result of Rocky’s first match with Apollo in Rocky, Adonis lost by a split decision.
