RHOBH: What Is The Nicoise Salad Erika & Dorit Ordered
During the most recent episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Erika Jayne and Dorit Kemsley ordered a Nicoise salad, and now fans are curious about the dish. For years, fans of The Real Housewives franchise have enjoyed getting to see what the ladies would order during their outings. Whether it's an ordinary salad or an expensive piece of fish, viewers love watching the women order their meals. In fact, producers often leave this in because of the fans.
While fans were enthralled with the interesting order by Erika and Dorit, RHOBH quickly shifted its focus. Lisa Rinna revealed that her mother, Lois, passed away after suffering from a stroke a few days earlier. After the beautiful tribute to her mother, the ladies headed to Punta Mita, Mexico, with Lisa in tow. When the ladies arrived, the RHOBH cast received raicilla drinks as they entered the hotel, which also intrigued fans. It seems the Nicoise salad wasn't the only thing on the viewer's mind.

According to Munchery, a Nicoise salad is a salad that originated in the city of Nice, France. The dish is made up of tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs, olives, anchovies or tuna, dressed with olive oil or in some sort of vinaigrette. Over the years, there have been several renditions of the Nicoise salad, but it always depends on the season. During the spring, chefs may add freshly harvested blanched haricot verts, while others include chopped red bell pepper, minced shallots, and steamed artichoke hearts. To make this dish heartier, some chefs even add steamed potatoes. So far, it seems RHOBH's Erika and Dorit made a good choice with the Nicoise salad.
