This week on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a controversy surrounding Diana Jenkins' book Room 23 came to light, and now fans want to know more. The book originated as a sultry ode to Hollywood's elite, with all profits going to charity. However, the sexual nature of the books' content led to a rumor train proving no good deed goes unpunished.
During the RHOBH trip to Punta Mita, Mexico, Lisa Rinna attempted to loop Diana into the conversation by plugging Room 23 with Erika Jayne calling the book sex-positive and woman positive. The book was released in 2015 with George Clooney, Cindy Crawford, Hayden Panettiere, Amanda Bynes, and Lisa Rinna posing. The book was a triumph and testament to Diana's edgy style and design talents. However, Diana had already spoken about the venture at Harry Hamlin's birthday party and didn't feel prepared to discuss it again. That is because of the negative rumors surrounding it.

Diana shared that she didn't particularly want to talk about the book again because it took a lot of money and time but ended up backfiring. She explained, "all these rumors started, and it was an offense of my character." Diana isn't afraid of setting her story straight but wanted to wait for the right time and place. After Room 23 was released, according to Distractify, someone on an underground celebrity forum, Crazy Days and Nights, spread rumors alleging Diana's book was a front for a «secret call-girl ring.» They alleged that Diana was working as a madam, connecting high-end Hollywood prostitutes with clients overseas.
