One key area is Losomn, which might be unlocked at different points in different playthroughs, but always represents a merging of two different worlds with a chaotic result. Players can triumph in Losomn by fighting either of two final bosses for the area, each of which grants different boons.
After finding mask pieces necessary to proceed, players can enter either the Beatific or Malefic Gallery in Losomn. Faelin awaits in the Beatific Gallery, while a fight with Faerin looms in the Malefic Gallery. Luckily, players can back out of engaging with either foe if they change their mind about which to face, making it possible to make an informed decision about how to proceed. The challenge presented by each boss and the effects of the fight on the storyline are identical, but the rewards earned by beating Faelin or Faerin can be utilized to optimize different builds.
