As they calm the horse, it slowly backs away from Red Dead Redemption 2 protagonist Arthur Morgan before taking one step too far and falling backward off a tall cliff. The player follows the horse to see if they've survived, but unfortunately, it's found dead at the bottom of the drop. According to the comments in the thread, luckily the horse respawns in that same spot after leaving the area, so the player isn't locked away from taming the Andalusian.
