Tekken 8’s brand of combat often defies physics and human capabilities, but with the release of fictional Polish Prime Minister Lidia Sobieska as DLC recently, one industrious martial artist has attempted to replicate some of her combos in real-life. The results, while a lot slower than you see in the game, are fairly accurate – although star Sofia Stunts does have a mat and other safety apparatus in place to prevent her from breaking her neck. A smart decision.

Some of these combos are long and extremely complicated, so we’re curious how long it took to perfect them. To be fair, it seems Sofia Stunts is a natural when it comes to replicating the combat from Tekken 8, as she has a whole host of videos on her channel mimicking various other characters, like Asuka Kazama, Lili Rochefort, and Nina Williams. Check them out:
Which video game character do you think you could best replicate? On current mood, we’re going to go with Exhausted Man, because that’s just how we’re feeling today.

A lot of 'martial arts' in games are far too flashy to be used effectively, with even the 'straightforward' ones involving moves that either are not included in the style / would not be used in a real situation.
I have well over 20 years in martial arts, and i wouldnt even think about trying to perform some of the moves, let alone in a real situation.
To be fair though — thats the point — you want them to be larger / flashier than real life.
@Rich33 Curious what you think of her performance if you're a long-time martial artist yourself. Did she do a good job?
@Rich33 C'mon you haven't attempted even one little Hadoken in a real street
