Nomad is an underrated character that does get the credit she deserves until the squad is in a pickle. These situations can be among the deadliest that Rainbow Six Extraction has to offer and often result in a total loss of the team. This turns out differently, however, if Nomad is one of the operatives.

Nomad starts out bumping enemies back to keep herself safe but, after a few levels, she completely obliterates all except for the most elite and powerful foes. These tough units will still be bounced back by her ability, making her a strong choice in Rainbow Six Extraction.
Although the TCSG12 boasts of being one of the best guns in the game with a rare shotgun suppressor, go ahead and remove the attachment. If the situation calls for silence, that will be handled by the secondary weapon. This gun just needs damage.

With that removed, Nomad gets a powerful gun with a large clip that has the stopping power to outright kill all but the worst units. Keep on firing and they won't fall far behind their minions. Keep bouncing them back if they get too close and let the TCSG12 whittle them down.
Please ignore the fancy look and scope of the starting handgun (the .44 Mag Semi-Auto). It can't be outfitted with a silencer and therefore must compete with primary weapons for damage. It doesn't even come close to doing that, so simply put it aside.
Players would be wise to get some quick experience and levels with Nomad for her better handgun, the PRB92. The weapon might not be statistically as strong, but it still delivers one-shot kills to weak spots from anywhere on the map.
