In the preceding episode 8, the audience sees Im Ye-Lim (Kang Na-Eon) making her debut with an amazing performance at Baekyeon Girls’ High School. But after the performance, she suddenly breaks down in tears. The episode then shows a mysterious person wearing a teddy bear costume and keeping an eye on Im Ye-Lim. After that, a medical team takes Im Ye-Lim into the hospital in an unconscious state.
After seeing Im Ye-Lim’s condition, Sung Soo-Ji becomes furious at Baek Ha-Rin (Jang Da-A). Rushing to their classroom, Sung Soo-Ji finds Baek Ha-Rin preparing to initiate the brutal “pyramid game.” Sung Soo-Ji then storms towards Baek Ha-Rin and attacks her. She holds her uniform and firmly pushes her to the board. All the students in the class are extremely shocked after witnessing it. Episode 8 ends right there.
