Update: Check your email inbox if you're registered for restock emails via PS Direct--you might have a message telling you that you'll be able to order a PS5 today, March 24. And if you haven't signed up for restock emails at PS Direct, make sure to do so. It's been a long time since PS Direct had a public queue; most of PlayStation's restocks are invite-only these days.
The PS5 doesn't get restocked very much nowadays. We used to see multiple restocks per week, but now it's not uncommon to go an entire week without seeing a single restock at a major retailer. A couple weeks back it seemed that PS5 restocks were picking back up again. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case. While Walmart has a couple restocks for Walmart+ subscribers in recent weeks, other retailers have been in extremely short supply of the sought-after PlayStation 5. Hopefully this changes soon. After all, the Xbox Series X has been in stock at Walmart for more than a week now, which is quite wild considering it previously sold out within hours. It'd be nice if the PS5 followed suit and stopped selling out within minutes (sometimes seconds).
