September is almost upon us, which means PS Plus Essential tier subscribers will have a new short-list of free games to try out. It also might be time to renew your subscription, because Sony has announced that 12-month subscription prices are going up for every tier next month.
Starting soon, these will be the price for 12-month PS Plus subscriptions...
PlayStation Plus Essential 12-Month Subscription
PlayStation Plus Extra 12-Month Subscription
PlayStation Plus Premium 12-Month Subscription
These new prices will come into effect on September 6. For the sake of comparison, the soon-to-expire 12-month subscription prices are $60 for PS Plus Essential, $100 for Extra, and $120 for Premium.
