Members of the Extra tier of PlayStation Plus will lose access to nine games in March 2023. PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers get to play new games every month, as Sony refreshes the library available to users on a regular basis.
While many games are added to the collection, some titles leave PS Plus Extra and Premium as well. For example, games like Metro Exodus, Saints Row: The Third Remastered, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2, The Turing Test, and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition were removed from PS Plus Extra in February 2023, with a total of 12 games leaving the service. Now, the list of games set to leave PS Plus Extra in March 2023 has been confirmed.
PS Plus Helped Indie Game Player Count Explode
As reported by TrueTrophies, which gathered the info from scouring the PlayStation Store, nine games are scheduled to be removed from the Extra tier of PlayStation Plus in March 2023. The games are Danger Zone, Dungeons 2, Ghost of a Tale, Monster Energy Supercross — The Official Videogame 5, Override 2: Super Mech League, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, Velocibox, Victor Vran Overkill Edition, and WWE 2K22. While WWE 2K22 leaves PS Plus Extra on March 14, the remaining eight games will be removed on March 21.
Subscribers should note that they will no longer be able to play these nine games once they leave PS Plus Extra. This functionality differs from the free monthly games available to all PS Plus subscribers, where users can continue to play for as long as they are a member of PS Plus.
