A 70 per cent discount has helped FIFA 23 rise up the Steam Top Ten.
The football behemoth rose from eighth last week to No.5 this week thanks to Electronic Arts' Awesome April Sale which is running until April 13th. The fact that the publishing giant also announced its new EA Sports FC last week might have gone some way to help hype surrounding the game.
CS:GO once again was the highest-grossing title on Steam, while Valve's Steam Deck hardware rose one place week-on-week to No.3. Free-to-play battle royale romp Apex Legends also hangs in at second place, while Resident Evil 4 drops one place to No.4. Capcom's action horror title has now shifted over four million copies to date.
Bungie's Destiny 2 also drops one position to No.6, charting ahead of new entrant, Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel from Konami. Recently released fishing adventure Dredge rose one place to No.8, while PUBG: Battlegrounds drops from sixth to ninth week-on-week.
Fantasy MMO The Elder Scrolls Online rounds off the charts this week, rising up 14 places to No.10 thanks to a 70 per cent price discount.
