Sony has today revealed the lineup of PS5, PS4 titles PS Plus Essential members can download and play for the month of August 2024. Available from Tuesday, 6th August 2024, they are:

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is seen as the headline addition for the month, which reimagines the films with a comedic and brick-focused twist. In our PS5 review, we awarded an 8/10 and concluded: «LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is a meaningful step forward, smartly evolving the gameplay without losing that fun-loving core. Kids will love the slapstick humour and colourful sights and sounds, grown-ups will appreciate all the elbow-in-ribs jokes, and both will enjoy just how much there is to do. Despite some very minor issues, it's gram for gram the best LEGO game in a long time, and it's up there with the top Star Wars games to boot.»

The Five Nights at Freddy's game you might remember from many State of Play presentations over the years, while Ender Lilies is apparently an excellent Metroidvania. We didn't get around to reviewing it, but with a Metacritic rating of 86, it certainly seems like a title worth checking out.

Well, Ender lilies for me. Which is actually fine, whenever Plus gives me at least one game of my list I'm happy
