The hunt is getting intense again with the new Prey movie trailer revealing the best look yet at the new Predator design. The upcoming film acts as a prequel to the first four entries in the Predator franchise, exploring the titular aliens' first journey to Earth and encounters with humanity. Prey will center on Naru, a highly skilled warrior of the Comanche Nation living with her tribe in the Great Plains in 1719 who must rise up and break her tribe's norms to save the people she loves from the highly evolved alien threat.
Amber Midthunder, well-known for her work in FX's Legion and The CW's Roswell, New Mexico, is leading the cast of Prey as Naru alongside Dane DiLiegro as the Predator, Dakota Beavers, Stormee Kipp, Michelle Thrush and Julian Black Antelope. Development on the film was initially kept under wraps, with 10 Cloverfield Lane's Dan Trachtenberg putting together the project under the working title of Skulls to keep its Predator ties under wraps. As anticipation continues to grow for the prequel, audiences are getting an exciting new look at Prey.
