After a new glimpse at the film was revealed with the recent poster, Universal has released the official Oppenheimer trailer. Christopher Nolan is at the helm for the upcoming biopic about J. Robert Oppenheimer and his time working on the Manhattan Project. Nolan, best known for helming The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, and Tenet, has also penned the script for Oppenheimer, based on Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin's biography American Prometheus, and is producing with Emma Thomas and Charles Roven.
Nolan has assembled his biggest ensemble cast to date for Oppenheimer, some of whom include Cillian Murphy as the titular theoretical physicist, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh, Rami Malek, Matthew Modine, Alden Ehrenreich, Kenneth Branagh and Gary Oldman. Filming on Oppenheimer kicked off this past January in New Mexico and ran for four months, concluding this past May. As post-production gets underway on the film, audiences are finally getting their first glimpse at Oppenheimer.
With one year to date remaining until it hits theaters, Universal Pictureshas unveiled the official Oppenheimer trailer. Check out the trailer below:
