Pokimane has kept fans, haters (you know who you trolls are), and speculators guessing these past weeks as the successful streamer was in the process of deciding which streaming platform she was going to sign with.
Pokimane began streaming on Twitch in 2013, when she was still new to it all, but her visibility since then has exploded, of course. Imane "Pokimane" Anys signed an exclusivity contract with Twitch two years ago, which ended last month, and the Canadian left it up in the air which streaming service she'd go with. This left many to speculate the streamer might end up choosing YouTube. Now, Pokimane has finally revealed which platform she's decided on, and it's a bit of an anticlimax.

On Twitter, Pokimane revealed that she's re-signing with Twitch meaning she will remain streaming on there exclusively. Talking about her decision via Twitch (thanks Dot Esports), Anys said she chose Twitch instead of YouTube Gaming since she "can't get enough of that good, good Twitch chat", making it clear that she prefers the layout of having a chat panel right alongside the stream and the audience interaction. At the time of writing, Pokimane has 10,580 subscribers, 8.92 million followers, and total views of 212 million on Twitch, according to TwitchTracker.
Pokimane celebrated her platform announcement by making another announcement - that she was giving away a car. Referencing the dramatic video in which streamer Ludwig Ahgren revealed that he was moving to YouTube Gaming, Pokimane lightly poked fun at Ahgren with the comment "instead of choosing between a red or purple car".
