The set from the re-introduces the concept of Owner's Pokémon cards. These new cards feature numerous Pokémon that were owned by some of the most iconic characters in the franchise, such as N's Reshiram or Lillie's Clefairy. This, in turn, allows fans to get their hands on cards featuring their favorite characters.
The set features numerous trainers from across the franchise, includingN, Lillie, and Marnie. However, it will not be the only set to feature Owner's Pokémon, as characters like Arven, Misty, and Ethan were all teased for the future. There are so many iconic trainers who have never featured on an Owner's Pokémon card before, and now would be the perfect time to include them in future sets.
The iconic anime protagonist Ash Ketchum managed to get his own Owner's Pokémon cards back in 2017, so now it's only right that Liko gets her turn. As the main protagonist of the anime, she would absolutely fit in alongside many of the franchise's other big names. Combined with the fact that she owns both her starter Floragato and the Mythical Pokémon Terapagos, there is a strong possibility that she could get her own Owner's Pokémon card one day.
The only issue with this is the fact that Liko currently only has three Pokémon, with the other two besides Terapagos not yet fully evolved. This leaves some rather big limitations as to what her Pokémon are currently capable of. It would be best to wait and see how Liko continues to grow as a trainer throughout the series, but it'll surely only be a matter of time before she gets an Owner's Pokémon card of her own.
So far, the Owner's Pokémon cards that have been revealed do not feature any Grass-types. Since Erika already featured on Owner's Pokémon cards back in the 90s, the next best choice would certainly be Gardenia from. Not only is she very recognizable, but she also has a wide variety of Pokémon that can help shake things up during battle.
