A 3D artist has taken the Pokémon Starters of the Kanto region and reimagined them with Venom Symbiote appearances. The Kanto Starters, Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur, have been firm favorite pocket monsters in the Pokémon franchise for as long as Pikachu. Representing one of the first major choices the player can make in Pokémon Red and Blue, outside of choosing their name and their rival's, the characters are arguably some of the best-known in the series.
There are currently over 800 Pokémon in the franchise, with that number looking to grow once Pokémon Scarlet and Violet launch later this year, and many of those Pokémon have alternate forms, not only including evolutions, but also regional variants. Vulpix and Zorua, for example, are two characters that have at least two different forms depending on which region they're found in. This massive library of designs has been inspiring fans to create their own for years, often through fan art that imagines Pokémon with different types, evolutionary forms, or those living in a different environment. Some even redesign characters based on other IPs, including one player who recently designed Pokémon in the style of Lilo and Stitch.

3D artist and Reddit user scrazyone1 took the Pokémon Starters Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charmander, and redesigned them as if they were taken over by the Venom Symbiote from the Marvel comics and movies. The beloved characters come complete with long tongues, sharp teeth, Venom-like eyes, insect logos on their fronts, and dark purple-black skin. Bulbasaur seems to be the favorite among commenters, with the bulb on its back taking on a veiny and poisonous appearance.
