Pokemon Scarlet/Violet's The Indigo Disk DLC brings flight mechanics, Legendary and Starter Pokemon from previous generations, all-new quests, snacks, and more.

Nintendo has shared new details on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's upcoming DLC expansion, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk. Among other things, DLC's new flying mechanic will extend to the main Paldea region, while players will also be able to «synchronize» with a Pokemon to take on their form.
As we previously learned, the DLC allows players to temporarily gain the ability to fly on top of Koraidon (for Pokemon Scarlet players) or Miraidon (Violet). While this is limited at first, progressing further into the expansion will unlock this flying ability permanently, including in the main Paldea region from the base game.

The new Synchro Machine device debuting in this expansion allows players to «see the world through the eyes of their Pokemon.» In the trailer, we see that the player-trainer controls Pikachu and races other Pokemon on tracks similar to Pokemon Dash. Players can obtain the Synchro Machine as soon they are finished aiding one of the scientists with her research.
