A new Pokémon Legends: Arceus game update has made it easier to catch Cherrim, the Grass-type Pokémon first introduced in Generation IV. The recently-released Pokémon Legends: Arceus has seen positive reviews from both critics and fans, with many praising the game's new direction, though some have been left frustrated by the gameplay.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is the first mainline Pokémon game to fully switch up the tried-and-tested RPG formula. The game removes the typical Gyms and Elite Four who players usually must battle, instead focusing on world exploration and Pokémon-catching in the ancient Hisui region, which would later be known as Sinnoh. While many are enjoying the title, its graphics have been widely panned, with many expecting visuals as impressive as Zelda: Breath of the Wild, one of the Nintendo Switch's most highly-praised open-world exploration games. As well as graphics controversy, the game isn't free from bugs, and players have already found glitches and even Shiny duplication exploits in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Catching Cherrim in the upper parts of Lonely Spring was considered easier than in the lower areas, something which the new game update has specifically targeted to fix. Players should now find it much easier to catch the character across the area following the new patch.
