Game Freak's latest game, Pokemon Legends: Arceus has struck a chord with fans, both new and old. For many players, the big reason seems to be how Arceus is able to provide a fresh take on the long-running Pokemon franchise formula. Instead of being an aspiring Pokemon Master, players are taken back to the beginnings of the Hisui Region, which eventually becomes Sinnoh. Here, they're part of the Galaxy Expedition Team, seeking to not only understand Pokemon but to compile the first ever PokeDex.
While the story and gameplay elements provide a fresh take on the series, players ultimately still need to «catch 'em all» in order to fill out their PokeDex. Pokemon Legends: Arceus brings back a ton of fan favorite Pokemon, and even add a new twist on many of them by giving them a unique Hisuian Form such as Growlithe and Voltorb. Players can even attempt to capture special Alpha versions, which are not only stronger and more aggressive, but know moves their normal counterparts don't.
