While exploring the Hisui region in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, players are encouraged by the Galaxy Team to catch as many Pokemon as possible. The purpose of this is to complete the first-ever Pokedex. As more Pokemon are caught, Jubilife Village's residents grow more curious about Pokemon and will occasionally put up a Request.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is divided into Missions and Requests. The Missions follow the story and postgame of Legends: Arceus and must be completed. Requests are optional sidequests that have varying rewards based on the requester. Some Requests are readily available with each new Mission, but others won't be visible until players have caught the right Pokemon. Request 36 is one of the latter, and if players are neglecting their Pokedex research, they're bound to miss out on more than a few.

To start Request 36, players will first need to have gained access to the Crimson Mirelands. Players will start the story mission «Arezu's Predicament» in which they are tasked with helping Calaba of the Pearl Clan. After they've made some progress in the Mission, players will then need to help set up the Bogbound Camp. Finally, after all of this, players can start looking for the Pokemon that triggers Request 36.

To do so, they should use Wyrdeer to make their way to Cloudpool Ridge on the map. This is north of the Bogbound Camp between the Diamond Settlement and near Brava Arena. As long as it's not raining, the Rock-type Sudowoodo and its pre-evolved form Bonsly should be found wandering about.
