Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons character roster already has well over 400 villagers. And arguably, many of them have become so popular and well-loved by the player base that it is not surprising for fans to create their own versions of them in real life. Recently, a fan of the life sim made a giant plush of cat villager Punchy and even added Nintendo Amiibo utility and compatibility to the toy.
Seeing Animal Crossing: New Horizons plush toys and real-life physical versions of the villagers is not uncommon. Some characters like Tom Nook and Isabelle have already been made into special Build-A-Bear versions, which indicates just how well-known they have become even outside the video games. However, the game’s community is definitely something else, as they still choose to produce original creations and add their own personal twist to the Animal Crossing: New Horizons toys that they make.

To showcase their toy making skills, Michael Karydas, or MichaelKToymaker on Reddit, shared a photo collage of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons plush that they made. Using lazy cat villager Punchy as inspiration, the Redditor shared cute tidbits about the large plushie. It stands at 26 inches tall, has magnetic hands plus a bendable tail, and comes with a small orange. However, most Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans will likely be more interested in the fact that the Punchy plush comes with Amiibo compatibility.
