Pokemon Legends: Arceus has been out for a few days now, and tons of players around the world are discovering the wonders of the Hisui region. Exploring the world, catching Pokemon, battling, all of that is there in Pokemon Legends: Arceus of course. However, there are also ways to interact with their Pokemon outside in the field.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus allows players to have their Pokemon play a more active role besides just using them to ride on, or using a hidden move to change part of the environment, so the player can progress. Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus can be called out to interact with the game world. Pokemon can destroy rocks for ores, hit trees to make berries fall down, and brought out to battle like normal. Players can also just simply call out their Pokemon for a bit of fresh air.

Reddit user Plasma7007 decided to let their Buizel out for a bit, and crouched down to better look at their Pokemon companion. Buizel turned to take a look at their Trainer, and stood up on its toes to give its Trainer an adorable nose-to-nose touch. Plasma7007 appropriately said it was a «boop» and was quite pleased with this little interaction.
Most of the comments of the post are filled with «That's cute!», or «That's adorable», but a couple of people shared some of the interactions they've had with their Pokemon. One commented that their Dusknoir slapped them, while another commented that they wanted to try it out with their Alpha Garchomp. Other people noted that the UI was missing, which helped the moment more real. Pokemon animations in 3D environments like in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have taken steps forward in recent years.
