Earlier this year, fans were treated to the official release of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, which is considered to be one of the biggest shake-ups to the series formula yet. The gameplay overhauls required to utilize an open-world provide a breath of fresh air from the mainline games, with players getting to focus on the exploration side of Pokemon as opposed to just training and battling. One Pokemon that is also available to catch in Legends: Arceus is Unown, a Pokemon that is rarely spotlighted in the mainline games. These are alphabet and character symbol shaped creatures that have some apparent ties to Arceus itself, though it's never been stated what the connection is.
