To perform the glitch, Pokemon Legends: Arceus players first need to make sure auto-save is switched off. The next step is actually finding a shiny Pokemon, which may take some time. And more specifically, it must be a shiny Pokemon that players find in rocks, trees, or treasure chests. After finding and catching a shiny Pokemon that came from a rock, tree, or treasure chest, players need to save their game. Then head into a cave located in the same area, wait for about 30 minutes, return to where the shiny was found, and, if done correctly, there should be a clone of that shiny Pokemon ready to be caught.
