Turtwig is a Grass-type Tiny Leaf Pokémon in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl that evolves into Grotle and Torterra after certain leveling conditions are met. While Grotle isn't a choice Pokémon for combat, Torterra is certainly a formidable asset to have in battle. Unfortunately, both Torterra and Grotle cannot be caught in Pokémon BDSP and are only obtainable through Turtwig's evolution. Therefore, to get Turtwig in Diamond and Pearl, Trainers must first acquire the National Dex.

Once these accomplishments have been achieved, fans can speak to Professor Rowan and Professor Oak to receive the National Dex. With this PokéDex feature now obtained, players must head into the Grand Underground of Diamond and Pearl.
