Overall Legends: Arceus has been well-received and popular with fans, sparking hopes of additional content at some point in the future, not unlike the two waves of DLC that were released for Pokémon Sword & Shield; The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra.
The action-adventure RPG Pokémon Legends: Arceus breaks the mold of twenty years of Pokémon games in a huge way. Aside from the unique plotline of the main character falling out of the sky through a space-time rift, there is a long list of game mechanics and additions that Pokémon Legends: Arceus improves upon greatly. From the lack of regular Pokémon battles to the way that movesets and evolutions work, Pokémon Legends: Arceus took a major turn from the previous mainline Pokémon games.

The popular leak source, CentroLeaks, tweeted in response to a video originally posted by DeepGameResearch that revealed the discovery of a hidden room in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The hidden room in Arceus has a surprisingly modern look to it, in contrast with the majority of the game. It was also revealed that this room has its own explorable area with a separate ID than that of the other areas. This designation appears to come after the areas available in the base game numerically, suggesting that perhaps there is space for Pokémon Legends: Arceus DLC to come.
