Pokemon Legends: Arceus Player Makes Bibarel Bridge to Get to Ramanas Island Early
Bibarel is perhaps not the most popular Pokemon available in the franchise, though it certainly has its uses. Introduced in Gen 4, Bibarel is the evolution of Bidoof, and has recently featured in both Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and Pokemon Legends: Arceus. In the former of these titles, Bibarel is useful in that it can learn most of the Hidden Moves required to traverse the game's map, and even if the player doesn't have access to the moves or the Pokemon, wild Bibarels will still lend a hand.
In the recently released Pokemon Legends: Arceus, it seems Bibarel are again proving to be a surprisingly useful Pokemon in terms of traversing the game's map. As is the case in most mainline Pokemon games, areas of the map are locked until a certain criteria is met. In Legends: Arceus, for example, a player can only cross the waters once they have access to Basculegion, which is a large fish Pokemon. Some areas, such as Ramanas Island are unavailable until Basculegion is accessed. One player though, is looking to change that with the use of Bibarels.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus differs from the usual mainline Pokemon entries though, as it is an open-world game. While it does not allow for true freedom of movement, plenty of players have found little tricks to access areas before the game would usually allow them. One player posted a genius clip of them using a team of Bibarels to create a bridge over to Ramas Island, crossing the water without even touching it. As Bibarels are big enough to stand on and can swim in waters, they make for the perfect stepping stones.
