In celebration of Valentine's Day, Pokémon GO is throwing a limited-time Valentines-themed event filled with new content for players to enjoy, including new Raid Battle bosses. This event is one of the biggest in Pokémon GO for this February, and many exciting festivities for trainers to take part in.

The Valentine's Day event is a 5-day extravaganza that comes to the game annually. This year features new Pokémon, new collection challenges, a new form for the Pokémon Furfrou, and more. For fans of PvE, the event's new Raid Battle bosses may be the most exciting addition.

A Raid Battle occurs when a Boss Pokémon takes over a Gym. Players will likely only encounter these bosses at Level 60+, and players are tasked with teaming up with their fellow trainers to take the Boss down. Doing so will grant them a variety of rewards, including special items and a chance to catch the Boss itself.
